Cherry’s rebranding of Pinellas County Schools were awarded the prestigious 2007 Gold Medallion Award from the National School Public Relations Association. Marketing Plan to be developed for The Out-of-Door Academy

The Out-of-Door Academy, located in Sarasota, FL, is one of the oldest independent day schools in the state. With 600 students on two campuses, ODA provides a college preparatory education that is complimented with a focus on the social, emotional, moral and physical growth of its students. Cherry and Company will work closely with the school leadership during the next two months to conduct an assessment of its marketing messages and strategies. This assessment includes an extensive review of their materials and strategies, interviews with school personnel and in-depth focus groups with parents. As a result of the assessment, a comprehensive marketing strategy will be developed for the school. This online survey measures the overall attitudes and perceptions of the parents towards the school. This easy-to-use survey provides an online format with just over 30 quantitative and qualitative questions. The results will be provided in a comprehensive report for the leadership to understand the school’s strengths and areas that need improvement.

North Florida Christian School recently partnered with Cherry to design a comprehensive suite of marketing materials for their enrollment effort. These materials included a pocket folder, admissions brochure, curriculum guide, tuition and fees flier and direct mail campaign. During the past year, Evangelical Christian School partnered with Cherry and Company to develop a new logo, tagline and admissions marketing materials. In addition, Dr. Rick Newberry conducted a comprehensive marketing and enrollment assessment and developed a strategic marketing plan for the school. As the next step in this partnership, Cherry was hired to create a theme, logo and brochure for their $16 million dollar capital campaign. With the theme, “Everyone Plays a Part,” ECS will raise funds for a state-of-the art performing arts center that will benefit their student enrollment of 1,300 students. John Hunte, headmaster of ECS, recently said that Cherry “exceeded our expectations” and designed another outstanding brochure to communicate the needs of their campaign. For the past 40 years Florida Christian School has influenced the education of families and students in the greater Miami area. In its largest capital campaign, Shorecrest Preparatory School is moving forward with a campaign for state-of-the-art new facilities and endowment. A case statement to showcase the needs of Phase I of the campaign and presentation pocket folder will be designed. Naples Christian Academy is the oldest independent school in the Naples area. With 220 students, Scott Jones, head of school, recognized the need to develop an enrollment and marketing strategy. After serving 21 years at a school in Pennsylvania, Mr. Joe Austin took on the leadership role as Head of School for Wellington Christian School over a year ago. Shorecrest Preparatory School chooses Cherry for extensive marketing research and strategy development

As a result of an extensive strategic planning process, the Shorecrest leadership decided to make the development of a marketing plan one of their priorities. After conducting an extensive search, Cherry and Company was chosen to put together a plan to answer two primary questions:

Who is Shorecrest Preparatory School to the community and constituency it serves?
How should the re-defined Shorecrest brand be communicated?

In order to answer these questions, Cherry has created a customized research, assessment, creative and planning process. This process is outlined in the following three phases. Beginning with Phase I, Cherry will conduct a brand investigation and market research that includes online surveys with Shorecrest's constituent groups and a telephonic survey in Pinellas County to measure awareness of the school. Drawing from this research, Cherry will develop key differentiators and an umbrella tagline in Phase II. As part of Phase III, a final report will be presented that will include the interpretation of the research and assessment as well as the recommended marketing strategy for Shorecrest Preparatory School. Shorecrest is recognized as the oldest, independent day school in Florida, enrolling nearly 1,000 students in St. Petersburg.

Orangewood Christian School launches capital campaign - The Right Time. The Right Plan.

On September 11, Orangewood Christian School announced a major capital campaign to build a new high school facility. Cherry and Company was selected to build upon the award-winning brand identity and admissions materials developed last year by creating a theme, brochure, and communication's package for the campaign. The brochure draws upon the excitement and energy of the school by communicating a compelling case to potential donors to invest in this vital project. Students were photographed in construction hard-hats in a custom photo shoot to provide the visual images for the brochure. Bob Sterling, director of advancement, said, "Once again, Cherry and Company has out-done themselves and has given us an outstanding brochure!"

New annual fund campaign developed for Shorecrest Preparatory School

For the third year, Cherry and Company has been selected to develop the annual fund materials for Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg. Last year's brochure received national recognition by receiving a Gold Award from the CASE / NAIS Circle of Excellence Awards by focusing on students. This year's campaign will focus on six alumni who are making a difference because of the education they received at Shorecrest. The campaign includes on-campus billboards, letterhead package, and a multi-panel brochure. Oak Hall School, an independent FCIS school in Gainesville, FL, selected Cherry and Company to assess their enrollment process and develop a marketing strategy. Mandarin Christian began its first year in 1995 and has experienced rapid growth on the south side of the city enrolling nearly 600 students. Seacoast Christian Academy, on the NE side of the city, enrolls 500 students from preschool through 12th grade. Both schools are positioned for additional growth through an increased awareness of their brand as will be developed by Cherry and Company.

Cherry and Company to Develop Admissions Marketing Plan for Tampa Baptist Academy

Tampa Baptist Academy has partnered with Cherry and Company to develop a strategic marketing plan to increase enrollment and brand awareness in the community. Beginning with a two-day investigative visit and review of materials and enrollment data, Cherry will develop a marketing plan in consultation with the school's leadership team.

Two new schools recently selected Cherry and Company to develop a new brand identity package for their marketing efforts.  This brand identity package includes the development of a new logo, tagline, and concepts for their marketing materials. Cypress Christian School is located in Houston, TX, and enrolls nearly 600 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Mitchell Road Christian Academy, pre-K through 8th grade, is located in Greenville, South Carolina, and has an enrollment of 400 students. Both schools have a commitment to integrating a Christian worldview throughout the academic and co-curricular programs.

New annual fund campaign a success for Shorecrest Preparatory School

This years annual fund campaign for Shorecrest took a different and innovative approach.
With a new head of school, Michael Murphy, taking over in July, he gave the students a
summer assignment asking them "What makes Shorecrest special to you?" With more than
400 responses, Cherry and Company used student artwork and quotes to develop the Annual Fund campaign. This unique approach has helped Shorecrest to meet 80% of their goal within the first month of their campaign. In addition the advancement department has received rave reviews from parents.

marketing materials. Both schools have excellent reputations in their communities and desire
